Family Values. Community Focus. Generations of Trust.

Celebrating 50 years of Service and Legacy
In 1975, Ronald W. Steele founded Steele Insurance Agency. His main principle was that “If I have helped one person each day, I will have done my job.” For decades, he built a business rooted in service, trust, and community. After Ronald’s passing, his wife, Alice Steele, carried that vision forward with dedication and grace, ensuring the values he established remained at the heart of the business.

A New Chapter in the Steele Legacy
In 2025, Steele Insurance Agency proudly appointed Rhonda Steele as its new Principal Agent, marking the next chapter in a remarkable family legacy.
Rhonda, daughter of founder Ronald W. Steele and longtime leader Alice Steele, has been immersed in the insurance world since childhood and has served the agency with dedication since 2016. Her appointment comes as Alice officially retires, closing a distinguished chapter of leadership defined by integrity, service, and community commitment.
As Principal Agent, Rhonda is committed to honoring her father’s guiding principle—“If I have helped one person each day, I will have done my job”—while steering the agency toward continued growth and excellence. With deep roots in the community and a lifetime of industry knowledge, she is poised to carry the Steele name forward for generations to come.

Rooted in Community, Growing Together
At Steele Insurance Agency, we believe business is about more than policies—it’s about people. We love being part of community events, partnering with local businesses, and creating opportunities for our neighbors to come together. Whether it’s a festival, fundraiser, or family-friendly gathering, we’re proud to help make every moment a little brighter and every connection a little stronger.
Because when our community thrives, we all thrive—together.

Remembering Jaylen Martinez
We remember Jaylen Martinez, a bright and spirited 13-year-old whose time with us was far too short. Jaylen’s smile could light up any room, and his energy was as boundless as his dreams.
His love for his mother, Ciera, was deep and unwavering—a bond that was clear to all who knew them. Jaylen also carried a true passion for basketball, a game that brought him joy, focus, and a place to shine.
Though his journey ended far too soon, Jaylen’s kindness, laughter, and love will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. His spirit will live on in every memory shared, every story told, and every life he touched.

Investing in the Next Generation
At Steele Insurance Agency, we believe in building a stronger future by supporting the dreams of our youth. Each year, we proudly partner with Patrick Henry High School to select a deserving student for our Ronald Steele Memorial Scholarship Award.
This annual tradition reflects our commitment to education, community, and opportunity. By recognizing hard work, leadership, and dedication, we aim to honor students who embody the same values that have guided our agency for 50 years—integrity, perseverance, and service to others.
For us, it’s more than a scholarship—it’s an investment in the leaders of tomorrow.
